ON OFF LAMPS

Floor and table lamp in galvanized metal and painted with manual finishing.

A project born from the drawing of the two-dimensional “on-off” symbol, which strengthens the basic concept of the lamp shape.

The union of the circle and the segment that make up the symbol was very evocative for this project. The circular shape became the lamp base, while the stem was meant to be the segment extrusion, namely a straight prism positioned outside the base. The diffuser is also cylindrical, while the horizontal part of the stem is more linear.

All the parts that make up the lamp are designed and assembled by juxtaposition, maintaining their geometry and distinctive feature, underlined also by the manual and galvanic paintings.
